Be on the lookout for treasure in Beavercreek! The legendary pirate, Cap’n Bogey left treasure behind and Align knows where it is.

Align Home Health, Align Life Center, and Wee Care Academy, collectively known as Align, is hosting a treasure hunt in the Beavercreek area. Small treasure chests can be found throughout the area, and once found can be brought to Align at 4114 Mapleview Dr., Dayton, OH 45432 to redeem for $100 cash!

Participants will be able to find clues for the treasure locations on a Facebook group page for Align Home Health, Align Life Center, and Wee Care Academy. Two small treasure boxes filled with golden tokens can be found beginning Friday, May 7th. More treasure boxes will be hidden when the Facebook pages reaches milestones in follower-ship.

Please keep in mind that the treasures will not be placed far off the beaten path, and digging, climbing, or traveling in unsafe areas is not encouraged or required for the treasure hunt. We will not use schools, cemeteries, or playgrounds as hiding locations. All local laws and land management policies apply.

Team Update – 2021.03.29

Hi Team! I wanted to send everyone some quick updates.

Align’s Anniversary

Thursday April 1st, 2021 marks Align’s 6th year in business! To show our appreciation for all that you do and in honor of this milestone:

  • Good Friday Holiday – Align will now be recognizing Good Friday as a paid holiday. For anyone working that day, you will be receiving holiday pay.
  • Retirement Savings Plan – Align is partnering with Fifth Third bank to create an employer matched retirement plan. Details are forthcoming.
  • Daycare Referral Bonus – Align is paying a $500 referral bonus for any new student starting our daycare now through April.

Daycare Naming Contest

Recently we asked anyone on the team for suggestions for a good daycare name that better reflects our educational based curriculum. We receive SOOO many great submissions it made the selection process extremely challenging. In the end we chose one name to rebrand the daycare and a runner up name to be earmarked for a future program within the daycare. We would like to thank Kara S. for “Wee Care Academy” and Thai P. for “Little Hands of Wonder”! Both will be receiving the $100 bonus! Thanks for your great suggestions.

In the days ahead, the Align Team Daycare will rebrand to Wee Care Academy using the Little Hands of Wonder program to enrich the lives of our patrons.

Align Food Drive Update

Tomorrow, 3/30 is the LAST DAY for the food drive if you would like to participate. Remember, anyone who participates gets entered for a $50 gift card. Information can be found HERE.

Parting Thoughts

Hello Team. Just wanted to take a moment and send some updates.

Team Recognition Events

Because of the wonderful work of our Team, helping the folks they care for stay safe and healthy, we are looking to recognize individuals who are going out of their way for their clients.  Do not be surprised to see a pop-up visit by gift-givers and well-wishers while doing what you do best, helping our clients.

Vaccination News

Provider staff and individuals who qualify for Phase 1A and are interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine can log on to the Public Health – Dayton & Montgomery County online registration system at www.phdmc.org Friday, March 5 at 8:30 a.m. to schedule an appointment.

Moving forward, Public Health will use this online registration system to schedule all appointments. We know appointments will fill quickly, so your best chance of getting one is to be on the site precisely at 8:30 a.m. Additional appointments will open up on future Fridays.

Daycare Contest

As our daycare progresses to a more educational based curriculum, we are looking to change the name to match.  Starting now, anyone is open to submit a name for consideration.  The submitter of the winning name will receive $100.  You may submit as many times as you like.  All entries are due by 8PM on Friday, 3/12/21.  To enter, just email marketing@alignhomehealth.com.  The winning name will be chosen based on web availability, brand appeal, and educational value.  HINT: names with “School” and “Academy” may have better web availability.  Please contact us for additional questions or fine print.  All submissions become the property of Align Home Health.

PPE Availability

We still have masks available for individuals in need.  To get them, please schedule an appointment to pick them up.  Once here, just call and someone will bring them to you.  As a reminder, the building is available by appointment only.

From the Nurse

When doing care notes, please remember to sign “Yes” to companionship on every visit that you saw your clients and sign off on EVERY visit.  Your signature is confirmation that the service is complete and is required in order to get compensated for the visit.  Overall, our team is doing a great job with care notes so please keep up the good work.

A Message of Hope

As more Americans get vaccinated, the days left of this pandemic are numbered.  Things are getting better.  Keep up the good work by continuing to wear your PPE, wash your hands frequently, and get vaccinated when able.

Vaccine Roundtable Discussion

The State of Ohio in conjunction with Ohio Department of Aging (ODA) and Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is hosting several roundtable discussions to answer questions about the vaccine. To participate, just register for a section by clicking HERE. No topic is off the table.

A Message of Hope

Members of the team have reported something interesting after receiving the vaccine. People are reporting incidents of doing everyday things like standing in line at the grocery and no longer being scared that they will contract COVID-19. People are relaying feeling grateful knowing they won’t be bringing home this disease and infecting their children. One individual said that they knew this coming year was going to be better than the last because they had done their part to make it better.

It appears that a side effect of becoming vaccinated is an overwhelming sense of HOPE and GRACIOUSNESS! This feeling is lingering, infectious, and contagious.

Do your part to end this pandemic.
